Green tea is a healthy beverage, it contains antioxidants and nutrients which have good effects on the body. It improved brain function, loss of fat, lower risk of cancer etc.
Below are some of the health benefits of green tea which have been proved by researchers:

 Many of the bioactive substances in the tea leaves contains large amounts of important nutrients, it plays a role in aging and all sorts of diseases developing as it protects cells and molecules from damage. Green tea also has small amounts of minerals that are important for health.
Green Tea Can Improve Brain Function and Make You Smarter, it does more than keeping you awake, it can also make you smarter. Green Tea burn fat and Improves Physical Performance: There are chances that green tea is part of the ingredients list for any fat burning supplement as boost the metabolic rate in the body. However, I’d like to point out that some studies on green tea don’t show any increase in metabolism, so the effects may depend on the individual.

Green tea also can reduce bad breath.
Green Tea may lower the risk of Type II Diabetes: Type II diabetes is a long term condition that causes the blood sugar level to rise, it occurs when the body is not producing enough insulin to function properly or the body cell don’t react to insulin which resulted in the glucose to stay in the blood and is not used as energy. Drinking green tea can improve insulin sensitivity and reduce the blood sugar level.

Green Tea can reduce the risk of developing Cardiovascular Disease: Cardiovascular diseases including heart disease and stroke, are the biggest causes of death in the world. Research show that green tea can improve the risk factors of cardiovascular diseases. It increases the antioxidant capability of the blood to protects the LDL cholesterol, which can cause heart disease.


Green Tea Can Help to  lose weight and prevent from becoming obese: Green tea can boost the metabolic rate and help to lose weight as it helps to decrease body fat especially in the abdominal area, body weight, waist circumference and abdominal fat.
