Ways To Keep Body Hydrated in Summer

Summer is here, so keeping the body hydrated can help the body function properly and regenerate at deep level. Staying hydrated has good advantages including maintaining your energy and focus and makes you efficient, it is important to pay attention to your body when it is needed. Many people are so busy that they barely have time for drink when the body calls for it.

Dehydration has serious health consequences, and health problem such as fatigue, rough skin, difficulty focusing, headache, nausea and dizziness, impaired mood, drinking plenty of water can help relieves such problems. Drinking about 1.5 litres of water a day may reduce some of these conditions.
A glass of water is the best-known way to stay hydrated, aside water, there are different fruits, which contain water that can also keep the body hydrated, fruits such as watermelon, celery, cucumbers, strawberries, coconut water. Checking the colour of your pee can be a reminder of not drinking enough fluid, if the colour of your pee pale yellow, that means you are getting enough fluid but if t’s darker that means the opposite, which you need to work immediately so as not to affect your system, most importantly the kidney.
Here are some of the ways to keep the body hydrated in summer:
  • Drink plenty of water: If you have a bottle of water close to you, it will be easy to grab when feeling thirsty. The body needs water to function properly.
  • Dink Coconut water: Coconut water is packed with natural sugar, little protein, vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals that are needed for human health. Drinking coconut water can replenish the body’s nutrients to stay hydrated.
  • Eat fruits and veggies: By eating water-rich fruits and vegetables, such as watermelon, celery, tomatoes, strawberries, grapes will automatically supply enough fluid intakes to keep the body hydrated. You can even combine the fruits and veggies to make a salad, which can give the body vitamins and minerals for proper functioning.
  • Add a slice of fruit to your water: some of us don’t like to drink water because it is tasteless, you can actually spice up your glass of water by adding a bit of fruits instead of fizzy drinks or fruits with lots of sugar contents, you can also add lemon or lime to make it more refreshing. Slice of fruits can improve the taste of your water and even gives you a bit of vitamins that the body needs.
